Scoring Categories
Points Scored:
Every point a player scores in a game contributes to your total:
1 point per point scored
Assists:
When a player helps set up a basket, you earn points:
1.5 points per assist
Rebounds:
Both offensive and defensive rebounds help your team:
1.2 points per rebound
Steals:
When a player snatches the ball from an opponent, it boosts your score:
3 points per steal
Blocks:
A blocked shot earns you valuable points:
3 points per block
Turnovers:
Turnovers can hurt your score, as they take away from your team’s success:
-1 point per turnover
Field Goals Made (FGM):
Scoring efficiency is key in fantasy basketball:
0.5 points per field goal made
Field Goal Percentage (FG%):
The better the field goal percentage, the more points you get:
+0.5 points for every 5% above 50% FG
(e.g., if a player shoots 55%, you get an extra 0.5 points)
Three-Pointers Made (3PM):
A player hitting a three-pointer gives you extra points:
3 points per 3-pointer made
Free Throws Made (FTM):
Free throws are also crucial:
1 point per free throw made
Bonus Points:
Double-Double:
If a player achieves double digits in two statistical categories (e.g., 10 points and 10 rebounds), they earn a bonus:
+5 bonus points
Triple-Double:
Achieving a triple-double (double digits in three categories) is an amazing feat!
+10 bonus points
Player of the Game:
If your player is selected as the “Player of the Game” by the league or major outlets, you earn a significant bonus:
+10 bonus points
High Efficiency:
Players who maintain a high efficiency rating (calculated by points, assists, rebounds, etc.) above a certain threshold will reward you with extra points:
+2 bonus points for an efficiency rating over 30
